This past fall, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady, who had been married for 13 years, officially divorced.
Both the Brazilian beauty and the former NFL quarterback have remained very silent about their breakup. Bundchen, however, disclosed the details of the divorce in a recent interview with People magazine.
Accepting the big life shift was "very tough" for her, she says. "My family is going through a lot of hardship. In every aspect of my life, it has been a lot, according to Bundchen. It seems to me that when it rains, it pours. All we can do in life, with its many turns and turns, is the best we can given the circumstances around us.
She then added, "I think it would have been very hard if I didn't have all the different tools that I have to support me during these times." "And since I believe we have all experienced life's roller coasters, I think we can all relate to that."
Following their divorce, Bundchen and Brady are still sharing parental responsibilities for their kids.
"I've always thought that every circumstance, no matter how difficult, teaches us something and advances us," she said in closing.
