Halloween is here, with fall starting later this week, the temperature cooling, and pumpkin spice everything returning to supermarkets and coffee shops. You may find unique Halloween dishes on your favorite fast food chains' menus throughout this beautiful season!
McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger King will shortly unveil three fun, frightening, and limited-release Halloween treats, so stock up before the final jack-o-lantern burns down. Read on for details on these scary picks!
McDonald's has announced that "Boo Buckets" will return in 2023, although it has not yet decided whether to provide a Halloween coupon book. McDonald's serves Happy Meals to youngsters (and kids at heart) in plastic Boo Buckets, usually an orange pumpkin, white ghost, or green witch.
From 1986, Boo Buckets replaced Happy Meal toys and were great for trick-or-treating. A Happy Meal costs $4–$6 depending on location, and the buckets are expected to return on October 17, 2023.
If they return, the chain's Halloween coupon booklets normally have several coupons valued at more than their price. The books cost $1, and 2022's 12 coupons saved $21.
Wendy's, unlike McDonald's, will bring back their "Boo! Book" Halloween coupon book this year. The business does not have a Halloween menu item, but its $1 coupon book will give significant savings on a range of coupons.
Chew Boom stated that each $1 Boo! Book contains 5 coupons for free Jr. Frosty desserts and a 6th coupon for a $1.99 Kids Meal with any purchase. Buy your Boo! Book at any Wendy's, drive-thru window, online, or in the app through October 31, 2023, or while supplies last. Through December 31, 2023, coupons are valid."
The coupon book may replace candy for trick-or-treaters (or treat yourself!) and supports a good cause—$0.90 of every dollar spent on the Boo! The book will benefit Wendy's creator Dave Thomas' Adoption Foundation.
Last but not least, Burger King will celebrate Halloween with a unique menu item! The fast food chain has provided Halloween, Ghost Pepper, and Ghost Whoppers, but this year consumers may vote on what they want for Halloween!
The Burger King app's BK Royal Perks loyalty program lets users vote for the Ghost Pepper Whopper or Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries as the limited-time Halloween menu item. Voting may stop before Halloween, but Burger King's release date is unknown, but it will be for Halloween.
